Ganga Mahotsav


In simple words Mahostsav means great festival or event. Therefore Ganga Mahotsav is the great celebration that takes place in the state of Varanasi where the river Ganga flows.

As we all know that India is one of the most culturally, ethically, traditionally, religiously gifted and wealthy area of the world. The sound of bhajans, satsangs, the music of the instruments like tablas and tambourines and the murmurings of large number of pundits and pujaris totally creates an atmosphere which is incomparable for any religiously bent individual.
